What We Do

There are many parts of FIRST Tech Challenge. You can learn about them here.

CAD

CAD has been a new addition to our hardware workflow that allows us to be much more efficient with our building. Learn more about it here.

Software

Our software is at the heart of our robot, and allows it to do everything it does on the field. You can learn about what it does here.

Hardware

Without our hardware team there would be no robot. See what they had to do to build our robot here.

Outreach

One of the most important things an FTC team can do is spread robotics out into the community. We do just that, and you can see how here.

Our Team

The people that keep the robot running.

Matthew

Software / CAD / Notebook / Website

I've worked on the programming of the robot, as well as the CAD modeling of new mechanisms. I also designed our engineering notebook and website.

Ryan

Hardware Lead

Ryan worked on many mechanisms for the robot including our glyph claw and relic arm.

Samuel

Hardware

Sam worked on the hardware for both our main robot and the smaller robot for software testing.

Ethan

Hardware

Ethan worked on the original design for our glyph grabber mechanism. He also worked on the chassis and mounting of electronics.

Hayden

Hardware

Hayden has worked on lots of the mechanisms of our robot including the mounting of our sensors, the drivetrain, and the chassis.

Hunter

Software

Hunter has been one of the people working on the software for our robot. He made big contributions to both the autonomous and teleop modes.

Asher

Software

Asher has worked on both the teleop and autonomous modes for our robot. He worked on the code for our sensors in detecting the red or blue jewels.

Grant

Hardware

Grant has worked on the construction of the robot, and is the team's most reliable source of fresh puns.

Elijah

Hardware

Elijah worked on the construction and maintenance of our field. He also helped with the inspection of our robot and ensuring that it met all of the rules and guidelines.

Zecheriah

Hardware

Zecheriah worked on the brainstorming and prototyping of our relic gripper.

Blog

An up-to-date log of all the awesome stuff we do.

Long Doggers Outreach

We went out to Long Doggers, a restaurant in Melbourne, FL to show off our robot and what we do. We brought our field setup to demonstrate all of our robot’s capabilities, and let everyone Read more…
